Robert Pattinson takes a role of the main hero, whose name is Jacob Jankowski. After the tragic death of his parents Jacob is desperate. The beginning of the Great Depression becomes the second trial of his fate and Jacob decides to drop his studies and to find an occupation for himself. He joins Benzini Brothers which makes the best circus performances in the world. He becomes a veterinary and he is totally happy with his work. It seems that his life is just about to come to normal, but soon Jacob gets acquainted with Marlena. She is young and lovely rider, but she has a jealous and brutal husband August who is training animals for their shows. Jacob keeps his love in a secret but this cannot last forever, besides August cannot get along with an elephant… But who knows whether he gets along at least with his beautiful wife?

What else could we expect from Robert Pattinson? Another soapy film with ‘love’ and ‘tragedy’ issues all around… The scenario is dull, I hope I will be wrong to say that it’s gonna be the worst drama of the year (and the name of the film is also horrible, by the way).
Lisa XXX, if you personally don’t like Pattinson for some reasons, it doesn’t mean he is bad actor and all his films are gay. I think the name of the film is okay (I’ve seen many other names that were much worse…). And speaking about the plot, it’s also okay, but what is important how the director manages to recreate the spirit of 1930’s and how the cast will do its work. I hope they will rock!)

Pattinson is okay in this film – he does his best and he is one of the best actors of the film in fact. I really enjoyed watching this movie, and if you are a fan of dramas, I recommend it to you. You won’t feel sorry for your choice!;-)
